About Us
Juniper Research is a leading provider of market intelligence and forecasting data for the fintech, telecommunications and digital technology industries. Our clients include major global companies, from banks and financial institutions, to mobile network operators and leading technology providers.
We are a small, friendly team based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. We’re within easy reach of Basingstoke railway station via a free courtesy bus, and our office is close to the M3 motorway and the A33 road between Basingstoke and Reading.
The Role
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be joining our Marketing team to assist with the production and promotion of our website content and social media channels. This will include working on our blogs, infographics, videos and webinars, as well as helping to manage our product and report content, our social media profiles, and our partnerships with conferences, media outlets and journalists.
Main Duties:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling content and other marketing assets that engage our target audience and drive conversion, including blogs, infographics, articles, videos and case studies.
- Build and schedule regular email campaigns.
- Create and publish our fortnightly newsletter.
- Assist with the management of our social media profiles; ensuring regular, high-quality posts that promote our products, services and brand.
- Identify opportunities for external marketing, PR and media partnerships, and assist with the execution of agreements.
- Promote and help to run our Future Digital Awards programme.
- Contribute to the delivery of client projects, such as vendor interviews, whitepapers and webinars.
- Maintain our online website content, including product pages, report and data content, and vendor profiles.
- Manage inbound journalist and other marketing queries.
- Assist with the optimisation of our website for search and AI engines (SEO and AEO).
Other Duties:
You may also be required to assist with other duties within the Marketing team and wider business, including building and maintaining product pages, supporting the sales team with client requests, and assisting with the testing of new website and systems functions.
All relevant training will be provided, however the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skills:
Essential:
- Experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in digital content production/design.
- Experience of using social media in a professional capacity.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work to a schedule and deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisation skills.
Desirable:
- Experience of using a website CMS system such as Wordpress, Wix, Drupal, Umbraco, etc.
- Experience of using marketing platforms, such as Hubspot, Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign.
- Experience of photo editing software and other design/creative suites.
- Experience with video content production, filming and editing.
- Experience of copywriting in a digital environment.
- Knowledge of HTML.
- Knowledge of SEO and/or AEO best practices.
- Experience/interest in the technology industry.
